Chances are you struggle (like I do) with finding good keywords. I can find lots of them. I have a problem finding good ones.
When I used Google’s keyword tool I trusted the results 100%. A big company like that wouldn’t give false results, would they? As it happens, they aren’t always accurate.
The results you see are not always correct, far from it. But it probably was at the time they put it together. I stumbled across the solution to this particular conundrum.
I decided to go for a keyword with about five thousand competing pages. I felt I could do well with that one. So I set out putting articles out. Lots of articles.
Pretty soon I noticed over 9000 competitors. I was downhearted at this new revelation. Maybe it was going to be far more difficult than I imagined. A bit more investigating turned up my own articles on loads of these new competing sites.
What I’m saying is that I would have left it alone had I saw over 9000 competing sites. An awful lot of these new sites were showing my article, thus I was my own competitor. A nice situation to be in!
I decided now to try a keyword research service as I couldn’t keep relying on luck. Getting a daily list of quality keywords sent is something that appeals to me. I did a few calculations and came to the conclusion that research services, though not cheap, were value for my dollar.

If I can get a keyword or two in my in box each day then that saves me valuable time. At least a two hour saving. An hour or two of my time is highly valuable to me when all I have is time. If I weigh the cost each day against my two hours work it clearly becomes value for money.
Outsourcing, outsourcing, outsourcing. Seems to be all you hear from the gurus of internet marketing. And what I’m trying here is simply that. I’m simply outsourcing the job to a keyword research service.
