Robert Kiyosaki Sent Me A Friend Request On Facebook!!
This morning I went on Facebook and had a few new friend requests as usual. I decided to deal with them straight away. I accepted the first two, then looked at the third one, who had written quite alot by Facebook standards. Robert Kiyosaki of Rich Dad fame, was requesting me as a friend!! Doesn’t it make you realise the power of Social Media! Of all people, Robert Kiyosaki. Amazing. Yes, I’m am sure I am not the only one, but doesn’t it just amaze you that you can connect with just about anyone on Social Media sites.
We would never have believed it would be possible to speak to someone famous online a few years ago. On Twitter its easy to speak to famous people too. Unbelievable. Do you use social media sites for your home business? You are crazy if you don’t! Robert Kiyosaki is in his 60’s but he is embracing the internet and modern ways of doing business. He actually asked me to join his fan page, and offered me an ebook he has written for $5 instead of $65. Well of course I grabbed it; who wouldnt?
His books are great value, and I will read it as soon as I can!
So what, I hear you say. The things is, why do you think Robert was advertising his product on Facebook? Well, beause its FREE for a start! And he knows that he can get incredible numbers of people to look at his ebook on Facebook. And it WILL go viral. Facebook is now the number two most visited site online, so it has incredible numbers of people from all over the world viewing its pages.
If you are in a home business, you need to have a presence on Facebook or you are massively missing out. More and more internet marketers are jumping onto the bandwagon and advertising their business for free on Facebook. Start your own group, give away free information, advice or tips on your area of business. Then invite people to join your page. Add other people as friends like Robert did. And just see the results you get back.
But in doing that, don’t force other people to look. Just a friendly word to them about what you are offering, nothing heavy. That is certainly how to get someone interested. Don’t force your business down people’s throats, you will just be avoided as a spammer. However, by giving value, people will become interested in you.
